The Main House

The Reception Office for the lodge is located in the entry of La Casa del Caballo Blanco. Passing through the portico entrance and entering the breezeway of this locally designed and constructed building the influence of Belize's Central American neighbors is evidenced in the architecture, woodwork, and tile that evoke the ambiance of a 19th century hacienda. Handcrafted from local mahogany the meticulously designed doors, railings, corbels, beams, and windows are fine examples of the woodwork available from local craftsman such as the Medina's.  The same craftsmanship is found in each of the cabana accommodations. Internet connectivity is available in the Reception area, the La Sala, and on the adjacent patio overlooking the Mopan River Valley and the mountains of Guatemala to the northwest.

The Sala, the grand room of Casa del Caballo Blanco, with its view of the 'green ocean' is available for the comfort of individuals or large groups. Ideal for business meetings, church gatherings, the Sala is used frequently for presentations and lectures related to a variety of bio-diversity conservation programs.  To reserve the room for a special event just send us an email at [email protected].
